Connecting Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)

Connectors

Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Calendar.
  3. Approve the Google OAuth consent screen. You'll see exactly which scopes are being requested before you approve.
  4. The connector shows as Connected once the OAuth flow completes.

Each service is connected independently, but all three use the same Google OAuth flow — connecting one doesn't automatically connect the others.

What's stored

Only encrypted OAuth tokens (AES-256-GCM) are stored, in TextMate AI's Supabase database. Email, file, and event content is fetched live per request and is not persisted beyond that request.

What it can't do

  • Cannot read your data outside of a request you make in chat.
  • Cannot use your Google data for advertising or model training.
  • Cannot share your Google data with third parties beyond what's needed to fulfill your request.

Full detail: Privacy Policy.

Disconnect

Revoke access anytime at Google Account Permissions, or toggle the connector off in Settings → Connectors. Either method deletes the stored OAuth token immediately.
